Posh Pets was founded in 2003 by a professional pet groomer with over 17 years of hands-on experience in the industry. We are located in Park Slope, Brooklyn, about 10 minutes drive from the Manhattan Bridge on Flatbush Avenue. We are a minority-owned and operated business dedicated to providing professional grooming and boarding services to dogs and cats. We are members of both the National Dog Groomers Association of America and the American Boarding Kennels Association. We offer complete grooming care packages, á la carte grooming services, and special grooming treatments. Also, we provide comfortable and safe boarding facilities for daily and extended stays (10% discount off stays of 8 days or more).
Whether you are taking an extended vacation and need someone to care for your pet while you are away, or you just don't want to leave your pet "home alone" during the day while you are at work, Posh Pets offers comfortable and safe daily and extended boarding services. Dogs are boarded in the finished lower level of the facility which is always well lighted and climate controlled. There are 6 large runs (3ft. x 4 ft.), 8 deluxe suites (2ft. x 2ft.), and 4 cozy cages (1.5ft. x 2ft.). Runs are fitted with rubber mats and suites with fleece mats. Runs and suites/cages are cleaned and disinfected regularly. Boarders are welcome to bring comfort toys, security blankets, etc.; however, we ask that these items be kept to a minimum as space is limited. Fresh drinking water is continuously provided to guests and they are fed according to their usual feeding schedule with either their own dry food (provided by owner) or the facility's dry food. Medications may be administered as directed by the owner for an additional fee. Dogs are walked daily for exercise.
